Maja Williams is a textile designer, painter, and aspiring tattoo artist from Pittsburgh, PA. As of now, she studies toward graduating with a Textile Design BFA at the Rhode Island School of Design by 2028. With a background primarily based in painting, she evolves to a materialization of her strokes. She is currently consumed by the manipulation and computation of fiber structure, the compilation of dye chemistry, and the intertwinement of history in design, all informed by her understanding of drawing as a lifelong tool. Noticing objects of rust and decay throughout her surroundings specifically direct and ignite the drive around a conceptual saturation of time.
